Young Engineers Workshops
We can also offer a ‘one-off’ workshop to suit a variety of groups such as schools (science week or enrichment day), community groups (Brownies or Scouts), weddings, special needs groups and home education groups.
e² Young Engineers workshops revolve around the world of science and engineering. The workshops can be tailored to meet individual requirements including duration.
Holiday camps can also be tailored to suit the needs of the group. We have run single day camps and weekly camps.
With Science, technology and maths being an important part of the curriculum and equally important for a child’s future career, our programmes are the best way to introduce a child to these skills through play. We host many events including full day workshops during science and engineering weeks in schools where the children can all get hand-on experience of some of our programmes.
Bookings are now being taken for 2018 / 2019. Contact us for more information. Here is what one school had to say: ”
“The Young Engineers were recommended to our school by a parent. When organising our in school Science and Engineering week we asked Smita if she would be able to support us with these celebrations. She was quick to respond and very thoughtful in the time and activities she offered to suit our children’s needs, interests and ages. In the lead up to our event Smita was in regular contact to confirm timings and arrangements so we felt confident it was going to be a great day. When the day arrived we were not disappointed. With a knowledgeable and confident team over 200 children were given the opportunity to work with the Young Engineers in just one day. The resources were excellent, the activities engaging and the way every child was involved and supported, if necessary, to achieve success made it a very wonderful start to our in school Science and Engineering week. Many children described this as one of their highlights of the week too!
We had a great experience with the Young Engineers and will be in touch with them again in the future to book our next workshop. I would definitely recommend them”.
